Content Writer, Marine Conservation
Work Location: Remote

Divegraphy is a travel startup based in Singapore and is currently developing the next scuba diving booking marketplace that connects you to your next dive destination in Southeast Asia.
As part of our business in sustainable tourism, Divegraphy also works with a group of non-profit conservation organisations around the world by publishing their work, initiatives and marine conservation projects on our social media and blog.

Our Goal
To deliver quality contents that educate our readers on the global challenges and its impact on the ocean and endangered marine habitats. Providing insights to our merchants on how marine conservation and environmental protection can sustain their tourism business for the generation now and in the future.

What to Expect
Your responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences and boost marine conservation awareness which inspires them to take action.

  • Conducting researching on any given topics
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines, and ensure all-round consistency in terms of style, fonts, images and tone.
  • Work with our content partner (when required)
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 2 articles per month. (avg. 600 – 800 words per article)

Our Ideal Team Member

  • Have passion in marine and ocean conservation is a must
  • Excellent in content writing and fluent in English language
  • A Scuba Diver or Citizen Scientist is an advantage

Note: This is a volunteer and remote working role. Applicants living outside of Singapore are welcome to apply for this position.
